La'Soul Magic Makeover QQ cream

Its been ages since I've written any posts. Been busy juggling between my three kids and University. Love the routine I was in but now that its summer vacation, I have time to write again. yeay!

Honestly when I heard about QQ cream, I'm quite skeptical about it, helloo..theres so much             XX Cream going on these days from BB cream to CC cream. I mean what is so different between them all btw? Read further for a detailed review.




What are they claiming?


They claim to do 12 wonders to the skin:

  1. Makeup base
  2. Foundation
  3. Concealer
  4. All day moisturising
  5. Firming
  6. Brightening
  7. Soothing
  8. optimal UV Protection
  9. Anti-wrinkle
  10. 3D hydration
  11. Minimize pores
  12. Reduce pigmentation

Colour range:

They have very limited color range, only two colors available, ULTRALIGHT and LIGHT.
Medium and dark skin ladies will run away at hearing the shade. Though the ultralight shade is not actually that light and it has a slightly yellowish tone to it.  LIGHT doesnt seem "light" though. It can actually suit medium skintone too, more like a universal color really.

My thoughts:

Personally, I think all these names are just gimmicks to make the products different but in reality has similar ingredients with each other. BB cream in my opinion has more coverage with the added SPF and hydration meanwhile CC cream is more towards minimal coverage and still has all what BB cream offers. CC cream for me is best used as a makeup primer if you want to have everything in one product, SPF and hydration to save you some time. 

On to this QQ cream, they also offer all the benefits that a BB and CC cream offers. The only difference I notice is that the coverage is in between of BB and CC cream. It doesnt mask my imperfections and dark spots, it sorts of just like putting a slight filter on the skin whilst still making it look natural. The only good thing about this product is that it made big pores on my T zone disappear ( picture shown below). The downside about this product is that it made my face look dry which is opposite to what they are offering here (Hydration).
