Review: Makeup Artistry Makeup Exhibition, X2, Lahore  29/10/16

Imported makeup is high in demand in Pakistan. Especially makeup brands from US and UK. Cost does not matter as long as the brand is there.

Due to the demand, makeup companies who import these products hold makeup exhibitions around Pakistan especially Lahore and Karachi, selling famous makeup brands from US and UK.

The trend of makeup exhibition started in 2015 by a company known as Cosmetic Candy. After the highly successful exhibition, other companies followed.

Recently, Makeup Artistry, a UAE based company held their exhibition at X2, Lahore. It was extraordinary because they have varieties from high end to low end but mostly concentrating on the affordable side.

Ammara said, “We are a UAE based company, this is our first time selling makeup in Pakistan”.

“Comparing to other exhibitions, this is by far the most well organized exhibition. Service was excellent, they were polite and friendly”, said Sahr Said, Owner of Beauty.hooked            ( leading beauty agency).

Although organization and service was good, one complaint from one of the customers, Amna,29, said that they are over charging. Especially a product that costs 300rs is being sold at 1500rs.

The overall atmosphere was very pleasant and ladies were having a good time shopping for makeup.
