Top five affordable makeup in Pakistan

A lot of people are into US brand makeup these days but they can be quite pricy and difficult to get. You either have to order online or order from someone who can get that product for you. When it comes to makeup, we want something thats easily available in the market, cheap and good quality.

For this post, Me and Jadirah, owner of the beauty blog "jasminecatchesbutterflies" collaborated to share our thoughts on the top 5 affordable (under 1500rs) makeup products available in Pakistan. Do check her post out girls, she has amazing things to say about them.

Here is my take on my top 5 affordable products:

1) Nivea After Shave Balm for men (As face primer)

Everyone has literally tried and tested this product. Its one of the best face primer out there. Personally without this primer my makeup doesn't look as flawless and smooth. I have fine lines under my eye and concealer tends to settle into it but with this primer underneath, you can't even tell the lines are there. ITS THAT GOOD!! :D :D

2) Massarat Misbah Silk Foundation

Pakistani beauty bloggers are going crazy over this foundation. Thank god I finally jump on the bandwagon and tried it. I have tried lots of US brands foundation and I have to say that this foundation is as good as the rest. It has a pump which everybody needs! and the packaging is so gorgeous yet simple. It definitely caters for every skin type, as it gives a satin finish (not too dewy and not matte either). It is far cheaper than Revlon/Maybelline foundations.

One bad thing I would say about this foundation is that it heavily stains your brushes/sponge/hand. It is a pain in the *** to clean. So I avoid using this foundation with brushes and use a sponge instead.

PS: Due to the high demand of this foundation, most shades are out of stock especially the lighter ones.

3) Diana of London liquid eyeliner 

If your looking for a cobalt blue eyeliner, this eyeliner offers it. The colour of this eyeliner is gorgeous and it is so long-lasting. It doesn't crease on my lid at the end of the day. This is definitely a dupe of Urban Decay eyeliner in Radium.

4) Rivaj Glitter liner

Have you watched instagram eye tutorial these days? You know those cut crease with glitter on top. That just takes cut crease eye makeup into a whole new level. Rivaj offers tons of shades and finishes of their glitter liner. 

I especially like their shimmer liner better than their glitter liner (although they are in the same line), I'll explain. In the picture above you will see what I mean. The glitter liner are less pigmented and looks patchy meanwhile the shimmer liner is so pigmented and colour pay off is amazing. They offer more than 10 different colours and finishes. After intense rubbing, the shimmer liner stays better than the glitter ones.

5) Ponds Cold Cream cleanser

At the end of the day you need to have a good cleanser to remove all that makeup. For me, this cold cleanser is 2 in 1. It cleans and moisturise at the same time. I have combination to dry skin, so this cold cream does not dry out my skin.

Application:

1) Take a generous amount on dry fingers 

2) Massage the cream in for a good one minute

3) Take a warm cloth and wipe the cream away

*No need to wash you face after that*

My thoughts:

There is no need to look further, its available here in Pakistan. As long as the quality is good. Price and name of a brand does not guarantee quality, so explore and try out the market and for sure you will find something priceless.
